PRODUCT DESIGN CASE STUDY · B2B Platform
Connecting brands with the right creative partners.
Reimagining agency discovery from a fragmented, referral-driven process into a structured platform where brands can discover, evaluate, shortlist, and connect with creative partners.
01 — Overview
The agency search was broken.
Brands looking for creative partners often relied on referrals, spreadsheets, emails, WhatsApp conversations, and endless Google searches. Evaluating agencies lacked transparency, comparing options was inconsistent, and project initiation happened across disconnected tools.
TalentGrid was designed to bring discovery, evaluation, shortlisting, and collaboration into a single ecosystem, helping brands make faster and more informed decisions.

02 — The Problem
Discovery was fragmented. Collaboration was disconnected.
Finding the right creative partner was often time-consuming and heavily dependent on personal networks. Brands struggled to evaluate credibility, compare capabilities, and identify specialists based on budget, industry, expertise, and services.

03 — The Solution
One platform. Two perspectives.
TalentGrid was designed around both brands and agencies. Brands can discover partners, compare capabilities, create projects, and manage collaborations, while agencies can showcase work, respond to opportunities, manage teams, and grow their business through a dedicated workspace. The platform transforms a fragmented process into a structured, transparent workflow.

04 — Brand & Agency Experience
From discovery to collaboration.
Brands can search agencies using advanced filters, review portfolios, shortlist partners, create project requirements, and manage ongoing collaborations. Agencies can build detailed profiles, showcase expertise, manage incoming opportunities, organise team members through role-based workspaces, and track business growth from a single dashboard.

05 — Design Approach
Complexity simplified. For every user.
The platform combines multiple workflows including discovery, project creation, messaging, negotiations, team management, and finance. Every journey was rethought from the perspective of both brands and agencies, creating intuitive flows supported by a consistent design system, clear UX copy, and scalable information architecture.

06 — Impact
One ecosystem. Every workflow.
TalentGrid transformed a fragmented, referral-driven process into a structured ecosystem where brands could discover, evaluate, shortlist, and connect with agencies more efficiently. By centralising agency profiles, portfolios, project requirements, and communication, the platform improved transparency for brands while helping agencies increase visibility and access qualified business opportunities.

07 — Principles
What this platform taught us.
By replacing referrals and fragmented communication with a structured platform, TalentGrid helped brands discover agencies more efficiently while giving agencies a scalable way to showcase expertise.
01 Discovery is a trust problem.
Users choose partners only when credibility is easy to verify.
02 Marketplaces serve both sides.
Brands need better decisions. Agencies need better visibility.
03 Comparison drives confidence.
Standardised information reduces uncertainty and speeds up selection.
04 Projects create intent.
Discovery becomes meaningful only when users can act on it.
05 Great ecosystems remove fragmentation.
The goal is not simply connecting users, but creating a clear path from discovery to collaboration.
